Our horse camps run over the summer and spring holidays.   

Our camp days begin by getting the horses ready for riding.  Each camper will ride a minimum of an hour lesson each day.  Included is riding, riding, more riding, games, horsemanship, liberty, and so much more!! Favourite activities during the camp have been our obstacle courses, painting, glittering and dressing up the horses on the last day.   We learn a ton about the horse, its anatomy, gaits and care all presented by hands-on activities.  

Camps Are Recommended for ages 8-12.  We have limited spaces for ages 5-7

All riders require riding boots with 1/4in defined heel without zippers or buckles that may interfere with the saddle or rider connection.  As well as a certified riding helmet.  For riders ‘trying out’ the sport rain boot with a heel are ok.  Long term we recommend investing in a personal helmet.  A helmet is a personal item and should fit your head like a sock.  We do have helmets for first-time riders to borrow short-term.

Diamond H Tack and Greenhawk both offer learners packages.  This includes a helmet, riding boots, half chaps, and riding pants.  As riders advance proper gear will greatly assist in precision.

Spring and Summer Camp

Riders will need the attire listed above.  For hotter days please bring cooler clothes and shoes to change into.  For cooler days make sure to bring jackets and layer up.  We do a LOT of walking bring comfortable shoes for after riding. Make sure to pack a lunch, snacks, and water.  We do have a water cooler to refill.  Sun hats and sunscreen are also recommended.  During the summer we also set up the sprinkler system.

Once you have registered we will send you an invoice.  Spaces cannot be held until registration is complete.   Camps fill up quickly and are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
